TO ALL THE GRANDFATHERS AND GRANDMOTHERS.
TO THE ONES THAT ARE NOT WITH US AND THE ONES THAT STILL ARE.
TO THE ONES WHO DEAL WITH IT ALONE AND ABANDONED IN RESIDENCES. TO THE ONES WHO FIGHT IT AND OVERCOME IT, AND TO THE ONES WHO COULD NOT MAKE IT.
FOR THOSE WHO LOST A LOVED ONE AND FOR THOSE WHO DIDN'T HAVE A CHANCE TO SEE THEM.
THIS IS YOUR VOICE, SO EVERYONE CAN LISTEN.

"TO OUR GRANDPARENTS".

"To Our Grandparents" is a personal project I made with my friend and colleague David Palacios, who played the trumpet trough the theme.
The idea came from the desire to pay homage to everyone who is suffering this pandemic and cannot have a voice, the elder people.

I tried to create a very intimate atmosphere and express through my own personal journey the connection between music and memories. These memories are based in the relation I had and have with my grandparents, and how they are intensified through the course of the global crisis. Everything leads to the final goal, connect with the ones you love and pay them a homage by simply remembering them.
